2020 is a reminder that MN ranks 2nd worst in the country for racial equity across the board. 

This is likely an incomplete* list of the black people killed by police in the U. S. in 2020.  Say their names.

*It should be noted that there are many individuals who die at the hands of police whose names are not released, and  many more who are identified as “unknown race”. So these numbers are likely significantly higher. 

In MN, 19% of Minneapolis’ residents are black, yet 63% of those killed by police are black.
